October 25 – 31
2026.10.25 - 2026.10.31
30th week of the regular term
October 28th marks the feast day of the Apostles Saint Simon and Saint Jude. This day also serves as the patronal feast of the Catholic Church in Sukhumi. Let us pray for its parish and its pastor, Father Jerzy Pilus.
November 1st is the great Solemnity of All Saints. It is such a significant feast that, unfortunately, just before it, mass-scale Satanic events—masquerading as mere entertainment—are organized under the name of "Halloween." Parents, I implore you to remain vigilant; protect your children and do not allow them to participate in these Satanic rituals.
November 2nd is the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed. Please submit the names of your deceased loved ones so that we may remember them during the Holy Mass on November 2nd.
October 25th marks the commemoration of Fr. Gabriel Aslanashvili (†1930).
Throughout the month of November, it is possible to obtain a plenary indulgence once a day, applicable to the soul of one deceased person. Each day, we can help one soul transition from Purgatory. To do this, the following are required:
- On this day, let us receive Holy Communion with a pure heart.
- On this day, let us pray for the Pope’s intentions (the Creed, the Our Father, and the Hail Mary).
- On this day, let us visit a cemetery and pray for the deceased.
- We must not be attached to any grave sin.
